Crop Introduction

This pesticide is able to control different life stages of the pest, including eggs, larvae, and whole (complete) insect, with two methods of contact and digestive effects. Phenoxycarb inhibits molting and causes disruption of cell function and death of the pest embryo inside the egg. By preventing the chitin synthesis in larvae, Lufenuron causes disturbance in cuticle formation and molting of larvae and finally causes the death of larvae. In addition, whole insects are sterile or produce infertile eggs after contact with Fenoxycarb + Lufenuron.
